Keco Dent Tech of the Week: Danny Hacker

Danny Hacker is an impressive collision technician known for his GPR skills. He started working with his dad in a collision shop at only 16 years old. Since then, he’s become the father of a beautiful family who he loves spending time with. Not only is he an expert when it comes to mending metal, but he’s also great at woodworkingHe’s made huge, painted Star Wars cutouts for his kids’ bedrooms. Danny is a true craftsman in every sense of the word.

Danny has always thought PDR was fascinating, but it was Keco’s GPR kits that sold him. He chooses GPR because it’s an all-around cleaner and less invasive repair. He also ends up saving on body filler, glaze, and e-coat materials, because the repair area always gets smaller when you start with GPRAccording to Danny, “Every repairer should attempt to fix every panel first with GPR. There are too many liabilities down the road with stud welding. Every shop should have a Keco kit. Not only because it’s a better repair, but it also opens up many opportunities in this industry as a tech. The better you repair cars, the better you’ll get paid.”
