Craig Reid is a seasoned PDR/GPR technician that has been involved in PDR since March 2000. Three years prior, he was working as a carpenter when a customer of his mentioned he worked for Dentmaster UK and challenged Craig to make the switch from wood to metal. Craig took the opportunity years later when he read an ad for a Dentmaster technician needed in his local paper. He got the job and the rest is history!
Craig has been using glue pulling as a means of repair since 2005 but said KECO Tabs completely changed the PDR/GPR scene in 2010. “The products produced today and from then have evolved tremendously, from the tabs, glue, mini lifters, Kbeams and Kbars, with all this equipment in my arsenal it enables me to repair larger complex dents quicker and cleaner, right down to the dime-size dents, giving me more productivity through the day,” Craig said. He also urges techs to listen to older, wiser techs in the industry, while not being afraid of new equipment.
In the little spare time, Craig has he likes to take care of his mom and three bulldogs and ride his Harley when the weather permits. He’s also the chairman of the Belfast City Archers, so he likes to participate in competitive field archery.
