Carbon Tech The Daniel Gromm 144 Hammer
This hammer was designed by Daniel Gromm specifically for bigger smashes. Made of 17-4 stainless steel and mirror polished to perfection. This hammer is much heavier than most designed to move lots of metal. Comes with two removable tips made of heat treated and polished 17-4 stainless steel, a Re-Grip rubber grip, rubber ball handle and carbon fiber shaft.
- slapper head
This one has a pretty good sturdy overall construction but I find it a little heavy and unbalanced. The large slapper head is ok at knocking down soft crowns but due to how convex and broad it is it can sometimes be difficult to see if you are over-tapping or a little off. The smaller head works great. The visibility is solid and it does a fine job of making relatively clean taps. I replaced the large slapper head and the balance isnt half bad but its still a little heavier than say the shane jacks hammers or even the A1 solid metal hammers. It has its place and I will make it work but I would like a little more weight in the ball at the end of the handle.
