Adhesives

Glue and glue application are a critical component to any paintless dent repair project. With this in mind, KECO has worked diligently to provide glue and glue guns that stand up to the task at hand. Our glue guns have variable temperature control, which our research indicates is necessary to heat the adhesive to a temperature and consistency that maximizes adhesive performance. We have found that the proper temperature during application improves that bond between the adhesive and the glue tab.

Our two styles of glue are suitable for applications through temperature variations from 40 degrees F to 110 degrees F. Our research indicates that the black formula works best in milder temperatures. This multi-purpose adhesive performs admirably between 40 degrees and 80 degrees. For temperatures (ambient) exceeding 80 degrees, we recommend the amber formula.
